Epic Evolution: My EPICCON Experience

EPICCON wasn’t just a conference. It was a call to rise.
From the moment my coach declared, “Authority is a decision,” something clicked deep in my soul. I realized that I had been waiting—on permission, on validation, on the “perfect” time—and it was keeping me stuck. But here’s the truth I can’t unsee now: I don’t have time to waste.
Every lesson, every speaker, every moment at EPICCON reminded me that my evolution is already happening. I just needed to own it. There were moments that shook me, woke me up, and reminded me who the hell I am.
From Attendee to Ambassador: A Divine Assignment
The conference took place in my hometown, Oklahoma City, so I was already planning to attend—but something in my spirit led me to apply for the Ambassador’s Program… and I was selected. 🙌🏽
What an honor.
Serving alongside an incredible group of women—entrepreneurs, business owners, mothers, daughters, wives, and friends—we showed up ready to grow, to serve, and to absorb everything EPICCON had to offer. We came with humility, hunger, and heart—and what we received in return was transformative.
The Words That Changed Me
Let me tell you—Coach came in strong and didn’t let up! She reminded us from the jump:
💥 “Authority is a decision.”
💥 “Your success is connected to your self-esteem.”
...And listen, that one right there hit me hard.
As the founder of Heart To Yours FLS, I created this platform to support women healing from narcissistic abuse—women who are struggling with self-worth and navigating the residue of emotional trauma, and managing ADHD. So when Coach said that, I had to pause and reflect:
“Where I am on the success train is directly connected to how I feel about myself.”
Whew. Even with all the growth and healing I’ve done, there’s still residue I’m working through. But clarity is here, and I receive it.
Wisdom That Stuck to My Soul
Every speaker brought the fire and left us with gems. Here are a few that haven’t left my spirit:
🗣️ “Your voice has a frequency.”
🪞 “Use your challenges to become the woman you’re meant to be.”
💔 “If you really love yourself, you’ll stop betraying yourself.”
💡 “Is it ego or is it love?”
🌱 “Think simple, babe.”
These weren’t just motivational quotes—these were soul slaps and sacred reminders. Each one called me higher.
What We Learned, What We Shared
From building share-worthy content, to automating client journeys, to tax write-offs, to reinventing ourselves—we received real tools and divine revelation.
But the heart of EPICCON wasn’t just in the strategy. It was in the sisterhood.
The transparency.
The tears.
The gratitude.
The power of being in a room full of women who see you, hold you, and speak life over you.
A Sacred Space, A Divine Experience
From Coach’s staff to the tech team, from her best friend to the event coordinator—every piece of EPICCON25 was intentional and spirit-led.
And I can’t forget the amazing women I volunteered with.
What a privilege to witness their vulnerability, to hear their stories, and to see how God met each of us exactly where we were.
I truly believe that every single person who attended EPICCON was meant to be there. God orchestrated that moment.
A Personal Commitment
And then, as EPICCON25 came to a close, Coach looked me straight in the eye and said: “You gon’ get your shit together, right?”
Whew. That was more than a question—it was a challenge. A call. A moment that shifted something in me.
So yes, to answer her...
Yes ma’am, I am.
✨ For my healing.
✨ For my growth.
✨ For my purpose.
✨ And not just for my life and lifestyle, but for my legacy.
Because this isn’t just about me—it’s about the women I’m called to serve. The women who are watching me show up for myself. The women who need a reminder that they can rise too.
And I can’t lead them well if I don’t first lead myself in truth, love, and power.
